Having co-founded CitiusTech in 2005, Rizwan Koita served as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) till October 2021. Under his leadership, CitiusTech became one of the fastest growing healthcare technology solutions providers, serving more than 120 leading healthcare organizations worldwide, and crossing over $300 mn in annualized revenues.Before CitiusTech, Rizwan was the CEO and founder of TransWorks (now part of Concentrix), a leading BPO with over 15,000 employees today. Prior to this, he was a senior consultant with McKinsey & Co., where he consulted transnational clients on growth and operations strategy. His philanthropic venture, Koita Foundation, helps NGOs scale by leveraging technology and digital transformation. He actively supports the Koita Centre for Digital Health at IIT Bombay.
Rizwan is currently the co-founder & Director of Koita Foundation. He also serves as the Chairperson of NABH (www.nabh.co), India’s leading accreditation organization for hospitals, covering over 20,000 hospitals across India.Rizwan is a winner of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2013. He received IIT Bombay's Distinguished Alumni Award 2019. He is also a recipient of the Indo-American Society's ‘Young Achievers Award in Business.’ He has a Master’s degree in EECS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
