Board of Directors

William Winkenwerder Jr., MD

Dr. William Winkenwerder Jr. is the Chairman and CEO of Winkenwerder Strategies, a healthcare advisory and investment firm. He is an influential and very well recognized leader in American healthcare, with experience in medical care, healthcare finance and health insurance operations. Dr. Winkenwerder currently serves on the board of directors for several healthcare technology and services firms.

Dr. Winkenwerder served as Chief Executive Officer of Highmark Inc. till May 2014. Highmark is among the ten largest US health insurers and is the third largest integrated financing and delivery system, with $17.5 billion in annual revenues, based in Pittsburgh, PA, operating Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans in three states and a $2.5 billion integrated hospital-physician network in western PA.

From 2001 to 2007, Dr. Winkenwerder served as the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs handling 132,000 personnel, 9.2 million beneficiaries worldwide and an annual budget of $40 billion. Before that, he held senior leadership positions at Blue Cross of Massachusetts, Prudential Healthcare and Emory University. Dr. Winkenwerder is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a board certified physician who has practiced primary care medicine.

Dr. Winkenwerder graduated from the Davidson College and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He received his Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Rizwan Koita

Chief Executive Officer
As the Chief Executive Officer, Rizwan Koita drives CitiusTech’s worldwide business strategy, including healthcare technology innovation and healthcare domain expertise development. Under his leadership, CitiusTech has become one of the fastest growing healthcare technology solutions providers, serving more than 60 leading healthcare organizations worldwide.

Before CitiusTech, Mr. Koita was the CEO and founder of TransWorks (now Aditya Birla Minacs), a leading BPO with over 15,000 employees today. Earlier, he was a senior consultant with McKinsey & Co., where he consulted transnational clients on exploiting remote service opportunities.

Mr. Koita is a winner of the 2013 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He is also a recipient of the Indo-American Society's ‘Young Achievers Award in Business.’ He has a Master’s Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

Jagdish Moorjani

Chief Operating Officer
Jagdish Moorjani has spent over two decades across various leadership roles in technology and business process outsourcing. As the Chief Operating Officer of CitiusTech, Mr. Moorjani is responsible for project quality and delivery for all CitiusTech clients worldwide. He plays a key role in Quality Assurance and competency development initiatives directed towards client engagement, satisfaction and confidentiality.

Before CitiusTech, Mr. Moorjani co-founded TransWorks, where he was responsible for global operations, finance, infrastructure, commercial and legal. He led many key initiatives at TransWorks, including its first COPC certification, making TransWorks the first company in the world to be certified with COPC 3.2.

Mr. Moorjani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). He also has a degree in Law from the University of Bombay, specializing in commercial and tax law.

Gary Reiner

Gary Reiner has been the Operating Partner of General Atlantic LLC since 2010 and supports the firm’s active value-added approach to partnering with growth companies by providing strategic counsel to GA and its portfolio companies. Other than CitiusTech, he currently serves on the board of Hewlett-Packard, Citigroup, Box, Appirio, Mu Sigma and Amedes Group.

Prior to joining General Atlantic, Mr. Reiner was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of General Electric Company (GE), a position he held since 1996 and was responsible for M&A, Sourcing, IT, Operations and Quality. Mr. Reiner previously held other executive positions with GE since joining the company in 1991. Previously, Mr. Reiner was a partner at Boston Consulting Group Inc.

Mr. Reiner has a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mohit Kaushal, MD

Dr. Mohit Kaushal is a well-recognized healthcare professional and an industry leader, with an extensive career in investing, clinical medicine, academia and public policy. Dr. Kaushal currently serves as a Special Advisor at General Atlantic. As a lead investor and board member, he has been an influential force in guiding many healthcare organizations. During the Obama administration, he was a member of the White House Health IT task force, a cross-agency team that implemented the technology aspects of health reform. He also built and led the first dedicated health care team at the Federal Communications Commission.

Dr. Kaushal is an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University and has been appointed to the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics, advising HHS on Data Access and Use. He continues to be actively involved in health policy and serves as a Scholar in Residence at the Duke Margolis Center for Health Policy.

Dr. Kaushal is a medical graduate from Imperial College, London and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Sandeep Naik

Mr. Sandeep Naik is a Managing Director and Head of General Atlantic’s (GA) India and Asia-Pacific business. He manages GA’s investments in the region and currently serves on the board of several leading organizations including CitiusTech. Prior to GA, Mr. Naik served as a Partner and Co-Head of Apax, leading its investments in the healthcare, financial and business services, and retail and consumer sectors. Before joining Apax, he was a Global Marketing Manager at Medtronic Inc., a scientist at Mayo Clinic and a consultant with McKinsey & Company. He also serves as a Trustee on the American School Board.

Mr. Naik holds a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Medical College of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
