Account Manager

Skills (Mandatory)
  • Around 7-10 years of overall experience in IT services
  • Recent experience of 2-3 years in selling and account management in US market
  • Experience of working in global delivery model
  • Experience in account management and mining activities for a large customer
  • Experience in developing business and nurturing relationships within the accounts
  • Broad understanding of technologies / IT skills
  • Ability to interact with CEO / CXO client executives is essential
  • Exposure to Healthcare market (Payer/ Provider/ Life Sciences) is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering /management or related field
  • Drive and co-ordinate prospecting/joint sales efforts in given markets
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline for given account
  • Work with delivery organization to scope solutions and close deals
  • Visit clients onsite to present solutions & get approvals
  • Participate in contract discussions / negotiations
  • Participate in trade shows / conferences
  • Participate in joint sales activities with clients and their customers

Manage large client relationships
  • Manage client relationships – including onsite review meetings with client stakeholders
  • Identify and scope growth opportunities within the account
  • Facilitate project definition, requirement gathering, design, architecture, etc. for delivery teams
Other areas of participation 
  • Lead and manage technology partnerships and joint sales opportunities
  • Develop new business opportunities through consultative selling
  • Partner with C-Level executives within the accounts to drive outcomes
  • Build and execute account strategy for revenue growth
  • Build and nurture relationships within the accounts
