Healthcare Business Analyst

The consultant is the mainstay role in the CT consulting organization. A well-rounded business and technology professional, a consultant is expected to bring strong business understanding, technology and domain knowledge with the ability to do and get things done well and on time. She/he is a strong professional with the ability to work with people, build relationships and drive our client work through insight.



1. Client
  • Requirements gathering including conducting requirement workshops, user interviews etc.
  • Creating requirements related deliverables including conceptual diagrams, business workflows, use cases, functional requirements
  • Involved in consulting of Payer market healthcare solutions.
  • Interact with client engineering team to conceptualize, develop and implement software projects and solutions,
  • Work closely with clients to understand requirements and business needs,

2. Company:

  • Coordination with the Pre Sales and sales teams and generation of alternative strategies.
  • Preparing Business Collaterals, PoV’s, Case Studies on Clinical trials, Medical Devices and R&D and also a paper on Adverse Event Reporting
  • Creating documents involving the analysis, build creation and validation steps, providing Implementation, Post-Implementation support.
  • Technical analysis and impact assessment of high priority complaints/defects

3. Knowledge and Internal Proficiency Development:

  • Will be responsible for developing internal competencies.
  • Actively involved in writing abstracts, conducting and imparting training , developing an excellence centre etc,
  • Proactively track developments in healthcare IT, including standards, technologies and workflows
  • Optionally lead development of solutions on an end to end basis



  • Technical or clinical undergraduate degree.
  • Post graduation in technical subjects and/or management highly desirable
  • General Business Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Superior critical thinking, analytical & problem solving skills
  • Interested in developing knowledge in the healthcare domain, along with deep
  • Knowledge associated with software development processes and technologies
Knowledge & Experience:
  • Strong background in strategy consulting, strategic planning and/or account management highly desirable
  • Should have a strong technical background.
  • Strong understanding of current industry standards, regulatory requirements and policies
Client Management:
  • Experience in Requirements gathering including conducting requirement workshops, user interviews etc.
  • Proven SDLC experience with design, development and testing of multi-tiered enterprise applications
Team Management:
  • Proven track record in managing teams and coaching younger team members
Skills/Managerial Competencies Required(Nice to have)
  • Experience of Coordinating with the Pre Sales and sales teams and generation of alternative strategies,
  • Knowledge of HL7 and CCDA,
  • Knowledge of US healthcare regulations,
